February, Love & Giving Month | By Suha

In August 2018, I got into a personal transition in my life followed by 5 hard months of being away from my home and family. I came back a couple weeks ago, more determined than I have ever been.

I had enough time to rethink about my life and the purpose of being on this earth. Now, I decided that we are all can be as strong as mountain when we stick together.

That is why I have decided that a big percentage of this month sales will be given to well-known charity in UK that makes people who suffer on daily basis feel loved and supported. The pity part is the law don't let me mention their names, but you are super familiar with it. Their loving hands make cancer patients hearts beat stronger for life.

We all have lost a friend, a relative, a mother or father, a sister or brother,  a wife or husband, a neighbour, a colleague or even a loving pet. It broke our hearts because we knew we are losing them but we always had hope we won't. Thinking of that we could be in their shoes one day ourselves, still lucky us for being healthy to be able to support those who are going through this hard bared journey.

Therefore, I ask for your deep support to gather the most we can for the sake of humanity. Tell your friends, every little helps. One pound could make a change for someone without you knowing.

Be the one who gives hope to others. I am very thankful for being here to do this with you all, be part of this and I am also participating.

I have been already in contact with the charity and they are very happy with whatever we gather and very thankful for just thinking about doing this. I hope this works well and we can make that little change for someone who needs it.

Grab your goodies and give to the humanity.

Looking forward throughout the month. Every order above £30 will receive an extra pre-determined die, paper set or stamp, please comment which of them you prefer. (until out of stock).

With love in the month of love....

Winter Exploding Box | By Donna

Hello, everyone!

Donna here with another exploding box that I made just before Christmas using Maja Design
Christmas Season papers. The papers are gorgeous.

If you would like to the the first exploding box that I made using the papers. You can find it HERE

Links to the products used can be found in text at the end of my post.

To make the base of the box I used a 12" x 12" sheet of Christmas Season Holiday paper, and decorated each panel with papers from Christmas Season 6" x 6" paper pad.

To decorate the centre I used Laserowe chipboard 3D sled. I dabbed each of the chipboard pieces with vintage photo distress ink using a sponge. Then I assembled the sled using pva craft glue.
Once dry I added some snow-tex to give a snowy effect. The distress ink, twine and snow-tex are from my stash! I made the presents myself using the design papers.

Above are some close ups of each of the decorated panels. Each of the images are from the 12" x 12" sheet of Christmas Season Ephemera.

The flowers, and embellishments are from my stash, and the chipboard snowflake is one of many on a sheet of Laserowe Love Arctic sweeties snowflakes.

Here is the box opened with the decorated lid. I made the lid using white card, and decorated it with papers from the 6" x 6" pad. I also made the tag using the papers.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Graduation card | By Tamara

Hi!
Tamara here with you. This Graduation card was made for a lovely lady who just graduated to become a nurse. I chose blue-cream colour combination, because nurses here wear blue work clothes. Image used is from Magnolia and it's called Fabulous Graduation Tilda (We Made It collection, 2016). I coloured the image using Distress ink pads.

Design papers used are from Maja Design. Swedish House crafts offers a lot of different Maja Design sheets and pads. Check them out HERE.

Let's Go Bath Tub Tilda | By Lou.

Morning Everyone,

It's Lou in with a post for you today. I decided to have a play with the newly released Let's Go collection. I really loved making little Epsom salt and lavender gift bag using one of the bags my Magnolia Advent Calendar came in!! well, one has to save and re-use lovely things!!!

Bath Tub Tilda is just the sweetest little image and I decided to stamp her, mask her up and then use the stunning Vintage room door behind her as the bathroom door.

I added a little glossy accents to her bubbles to give them that lovely floaty bubble kind of look, so pretty. I stamped out 2 of the little perfume bottle stamps and cut around them to decorate the bottom right corner of my gift bag.

They look so sweet. For the top of the bag, I used a Magnolia Lace DooHickey die from my stash and the die cut the gorgeous little crossed keys from the Lobby Accessories die set. I cut them twice, once in kraft card and then once in my design paper so I could use the little negative cut hearts from the tops of the keys to sit on the centre where the keys cross over.

The Maja Designs Christmas Seasons 6x6 pad had to be used again!! I absolutely adore it and it's always worth remembering that sometimes Christmas papers are not just for Christmas use!! they are just so beautiful.

And here is a side view of my little gift bag. I so wish you all had scratch and sniff screens so you could smell the lavender, its gorgeous. This would be such a lovely gift for someone who is moving into a new home and will need a good soak for their muscles after all the moving of boxes!!!!

Laserowe Vintage Gentleman | By Lynn

Hello - It's Lynn here with you today to share a card made with the Laserowe Vintage Gentleman collection papers. I also used this collection in issue 186 of Simply Cards and Papercraft for an article for Swedish House Crafts you can still get a copy.

I love the extra tags you get with a set of Laserowe papers, it makes them great value for money. I cut around this one of the motorbike for my card,  just adding a little ink to the edges. I used Gummiapan stitched rectangle dies to cut two pieces of the background papers.

As this card is for a younger male I used the darkest part of the backing papers. Then I put Gummiapan inksplats stamp over most of the pattern to grunge it up. I also used Gummiapan Mini worn ringed star stamp.

I used the Gummiapan film negative stamp and Happy Birthday Text background stamp to stamp over the background card. I masked the film strip so that the words look like they are on the film.

Finally I used the Gummiapan Stamp - Text - Happy Birthday (mini straight hand) at the bottom of the card. I just love this tiny stamp I used it a lot!

Happy New Year Card | By Nancy

Hello, friends! With my first Swedish House Crafts post of 2019...I wish you all a Very Happy New Year! I used the beautiful Maja Design - Christmas Season Collection to create my card. I began by cutting out the lovely card, and inking the edges. I mounted it with foam tape onto the pretty polka-dot paper, leaving the wonderful border strip along the bottom of the paper. I then adhered it onto the coordinating cream colour cardstock from the Maja Design - Monochromes Collection, before adhering it onto a white card base.

Here's a close-up look at the lovely New Year Greeting:

I added some Diamond Stickles to all the foliage in the image, to add some lovely sparkle.
Finally, I added a pretty glitter ribbon bow to the top of the card.

Thanks for stopping by today! I'll see you again soon with another fun project!
