Vintage Baby Girl Exploding Box | Liz

Hi, guess what, I'm here today showing you another creation I've made using the gorgeous Vintage baby collection by Laserowe Love .

I couldn't resist making a vintage style exploding box, for the lid I added some cut some paper, then added a fussy cut image from one of the papers raised up with 3D foam, then below this a strip off another sheet of the papers which I raised up slightly higher.

As you can see on the lid sides I used another of the lovely papers to tie in the image on the paper below.

Inside I used more of the papers and some of the fabulous chip boards.

I fussy cut the images again raising them up with 3D foam, I then added some hand drawn lines for the balloon strings. I do so love the cute chipboard teddy!!! which I left in its natural state.

After fussy cutting the banner I again raised it up with the 3D foam. I also fussy cut the rocking horse which I glued onto the base leaving it flat. Then raised up the gorgeous vintage styled teddy bear, I also love this image!!!

On the other side I raised up another vintage bear image and placed a chipboard rattle left again in its natural state.

The rear of the box has this vintage pram cut out from one of the sheets, look how they all mix and match perfectly!!

In the middle section I used one of the Roxstamps nesting circle dies to cut out a circle giving the appearance of a vintage rug, then I added the 3D cradle. In the front I glued more adorable teddies.

After making up the 3D cradle I added some paper flowers, cheesecloth as a mock blanket and a tiny doll cut from one of the papers too. This I then glued in the corner of the cot.

Envelope Card | By Irene Mendes

Hello everyone, it's Irene here - the newest member of the Swedish House Crafts Team with a post for you today.

Today I thought of bringing you one of my favourite stamps from Magnolia, the beautiful Pink and Blue Ribbon - Hear No Evil Tilda. This beautiful stamp belongs to a series of six stamps in a total. Pink and Blue ribbon for a cancer fight campaign.

This is my template for this project:

To create this envelope card I used the decorative paper from Laserowe Love "Vintage Trip". Unfortunately we still do not have it in the store yet. This paper has a mix of Pink and Green with a "Vintage" look and how they can see with pretty nice and soft patterns.

Now my Project:

To create this layout I also use some DooHickey - Magnolia dies as Magnolia Doohickey Club vol 4, and Magnolia Doohickey Club vol 9, as well as a Laserowe Love frame, Oval Flourish Frame.

Laserowe Arctic Sweeties | By Donna

Hello, everyone!
Donna here with a Christmas card that I have made using the new Laserowe Love Arctic Sweeties complete collection. There are 6 12"x 12" double sided sheets as well as 3 strips of 12" x 2" double sided cut out motifs.

I used Gummiapan old paper die to cut and layer the papers to the card front.

Links to the products used can be found at the end of this post.

I took one of the strips, and cut around the penguin, and the polar bear.
I added glamour dust to the purple heart, and the polar bears scarf.

I used Arctic Sweeties paper to die cut a Gummiapan stitched scalloped circle, and put it to one side.
One of the 12" x 12" design sheets has 12 gorgeous images. I chose the polar bear image.
I cut the image using Roxstamps stitched circle, and matted it onto a larger stitched circle using "Arctic Sweeties" papers, and adhered that onto the scalloped circle. I used glamour dust on the pom pom of the bears hat.

I cut around the banner from one of the sheets, and cut out some paper letters from my stash to spell the word Noel.

The Laserowe chipboard snowflake garland that I used is one of three sizes included in the pack. I chose the larger garland, and decorated it with pearl flatbacks from my stash!

The flowers are from my stash!

Inside the card is decorated to complement the front.

Christmas Arctic Sweeties | By Liz

Hi guys, I'm sure you've already seen the gorgeous paper collection Arctic Sweeties by Laserowe Love, well I have made a few projects with them, so for this card I used up some of the scrap pieces I had left over.

The beautiful papers all tone together fabulously as well they distress on the paper edges too which as you know is what I like to do.

I cut down one of the Laserowe Love chipboards, just using the largest snowflake, onto which I simply added some glitter. I then used the rest of the chipboard set along the edge of the papers on the left, again just adding some glitter to them. I added my handmade flower out of silk foam which Suha will have in her shop soon and then used some mixed berries too.

I made another handmade flower for on the base and again used the berries, at the bottom of the fabulous image from the papers I added some more glitter and some fussy cut parcels which again are part of the collection.

Check out these fabulous products and all the other fabulous products over at the Swedish House Crafts shop.

Grandma's Attic Mothers day | By Lou

Hello everyone,

It's Lou in with a post for you today. I was in a fairly CAS cardmaking kind of mood for this one so just a few simple layers and one of the gorgeous images from the Pion Designs- From Grandma's Attic- Mothers day sheet was all I needed on my little craft desk to get me going. I also dusted off one of my older Pion 12x12 papers, (Fairytales of spring and My Dearest Sofia - lovely things), because they looked so lovely with the little image.

I trimmed all my mat pieces and then distressed the edges of each piece with the edge of my scissors blade. This photo is from an older make I have posted but just in case anyone is new to our blog I thought I'd show how I do that.

I couldn't resist die cutting a few things too though! I cut myself 4 of the smallest dragonflies dies in the Magnolia stamps- Bon Voyage- Dragonflies Doo Hickey dies set, 2 in kraft card and 2 in the patterned paper scraps left from my card base. I carefully dry embossed them with my ball tool on a foam mat to give them some 'pop' before gluing the 2 layers together. I love how they come out when you do that.

I also cut some of the smallest Bon Voyage flowers Doo Hickey die out in kraft and the scraps too. I cut four in kraft and eight in the scraps. Then I screwed up the flowers and carefully unscrewed them to get some dimension into them before I popped them all together with a mini brad and inked the edges. I really love the effect doing that gives to them.

Before I adhered my image piece onto the card I thought that the Gummiapan Hens Net die would tie in so sweetly with the little hen's the boy is feeding in the image so I used some kraft card to die cut it, then cut in half and glued it to the back of my image piece.

Then very carefully, I hot glued my little dragonflies onto the flowers. They look so pretty like that and it really makes a beautiful focal point on a simple card making. Here is the bottom corner from a slightly different angle.

Arctic Sweeties Box | By Liz

Hi guys,
Well the weather has certainly turned cold enough for snow and I know some places have already had a touch of it, so in time for Christmas and in keeping with the weather Suha has got some adorable paper ranges in by Laserowe Love, this one is called Arctic Sweeties and they are so cute!!!

I created an exploding box and used the fabulous papers for both the outsides and insides, they all go together perfectly as do the images in the collection too, but more on that in a minute!!! lol
I added a gorgeous chipboard again by Laserowe Love on the lid, simply adding some stickles glue here and there, as well as some handmade flowers in silk foam, which is coming into store at Swedish House Crafts soon, along with some mixed berries that's in the store too.

On the box front I used this fabulous die by Gummiapan, I just love the swirly script!!!

So inside are the really cute images I mentioned,  I mean how adorable!!!

I used some more of the papers first, then I fussy cut some of the adorable images out using 3D foam behind to raise some of them up a little.

Here I fussy cut out the bear, balloons and the flags, hand drawing some strings for the balloons and a little glitter to finish it off.

Here after cutting out the images I again drew a string for the balloon and then raised the balloon up with some 3D foam, the gorgeous chipboard snowflake is again by laser owe love and I added some glitter over the top.

Here the bear is raised again with the foam pads, I left the cut out parcels flat to look like they are slightly behind and in front of him, I then used some more of the flags finishing them off with hints of glitter.

I made a pocket for some of the gorgeous tags which I simply cut out then added a little twine on the top, the top of the pocket has some more flags, parcels and a really cute penguin having fun!!!

These are fab for putting as tags onto pressies too.

The centre piece is created using another fabulous chipboard. Again I simply added some glitter. I used a piece of clear acetate behind to make it stand up then I glued this onto some cheesecloth.
Again I used some more mixed berries and my handmade silk foam flower.
