DAY 23: Little Snowy Calendar | By CĂ©line and Nathalie

Here are Nathalie and CĂ©line to share with you our cards made for Swedish House Crafts.
We hope you are ready to celebrate Christmas with your loved ones. Read to the end to find our DT Christmas present to you!

As you know, every month we challenge ourselves to do two different cards using the same stuff:- same paper collection, same dies, same stamps, same embellies...
This month we have made a calendar and a card. You will see that they could make a perfect set (even without seeing what the other had made). You already saw a calendar made by our dear Tamara, you can see now a different way to make one.

Here is what we both used to create these two different looks:-

And now some close ups of our makes, to show you the details.

All products mentioned in this post are 5% off with the code OV2IQ9H99
This applies for all the Maja papers from the Joyous Winterdays collection (singles and pads) and everything else we used on our makes! This is an awesome offer!!!

Day 22: A Merry Christmas Tree | By Nancy

Hello, friends! It's Nancy here today. Do you feel the excitement in the air? Christmas Day is coming very fast now, isn't it?  It's a beautiful time of year! Here's one final card to fit the theme.

I created a kraft card base, and then layered it with the beautiful  Maja Designs I Wish papers. I stamped and die-cut the tree from the kraft cardstock, and then did the same with the sentiment. They were both layered on more of the Maja papers. The tree was backed with a die-cut oval.

Here's a closer look at the oval. I just had to add these adorable little birds to the tree. They were die-cut using a new Gummiapan die. Aren't they sweet?

Here's a closer look at the stamped sentiment too. Gummiapan stamps are always so crisp and clear!
Both the oval and the sentiment were added with foam tape to give some extra dimension. Finally, I added a pretty red ribbon to the top of the card.

I'd like to take this time to wish you all a Very Merry Christmas! May you have a wonderful time of blessings with your family and friends! I'll see you all back here again in the new year! :o)

DAY 21: I believe in Unicorns | By Tamara
Today I'm here with my latest Swedish House Crafts make and another little gift for you so make sure you read all the way to the end of the post. I absolutely love this Magnolia image! It's called Unicorn Tilda and she was released as part of  the "I believe in unicorns collection, 2017". On the inside of the card I used Unicorn with the text from the same release.

Both images were stamped using Tim Holtz - Stamping platform. There's a seperate post about it coming soon. I used Distress ink pads for colouring.

I tried this card design for the first time. It looks like an ordinary card, but when you open it up, the back part looks like a box. Inside it I added some clouds and Magnolia's Unicorn.

Papers used are from Maja Design - Sofiero.

I also have a fab treat for you too, you can have a 5% discount on any of the Maja Design - Joyous papers, if you place an order using the code SB58SQL5A64 at Swedish House Crafts
Valid until 31st Dec

I used the fabulous 12 x 12 paper set Joyous Winter Days by Maja Design on my card, these are fabulous with some fantastic colours and patterns which can be used used for more than Christmas creations too, more on that another time, lol.

As you can see I used a few of them here layering them up using the really useful stitched banners die by Gummiapan, at one end I also used one of the  metal eyelets in Mixed meadow.

I then used this fantastic tree stamp and matching die. I fixed one directly to the base of my card and the other one I layered up with some foam pads. They would also make fabulous gift tags too by simply making a hole near the top for some string or twine etc.

I then finished off my card with some of the so cute metal star sequins in gold and silver.

DAY 18: Table Name Sweets Box | By Suha

Hi everyone, today we are counting down days to Christmas and the stress is taking over, right?

So much to do, we forget small details here and there until the last moment. I thought this time to share little crafty project with beautiful table gesture. I combined table name tag and little sweet invitation box. Remember that during this Advent Calendar, all items used have 5% discount, so you can visit back all the previous posts and pick your favourites with discounts as mentioned in the post. All discount codes are valid until the end of the year.

You can already scroll down to get this post's code too.

I used the Apple Box die, a new release from Gummiapan to make the box. I loved it when I assembled it, but actually it took me a bit to understand how to put it together without smashing the handles. Here is how it looks once put together.

If you notice there are two cuts above each other in the sides of the box. So hold the two sides fitted together while the handle is outside, then slide in the handle through the lower cut in both sides together. Now the handle is inside the box. Next, slide back the handle out from the above cut in both sides together. Now the handle is outside the box and looks marvellous.

Then I cut out the name tag using the paper die from Magnolia DooHickey Club Vol. 12, that is from last year's Christmas edition which in my opinion was one of the best releases. I stamped Merry Christmas from Gummiapan earlier release, but you can just write the name of your guest instead.

Then I pasted in the back, a little cardstock to connect the tag to the box, angled to show the name better.

Now the messy part comes when I prepared the flower arrangements! nightmare burning my fingers. I bet you guessed what I used. Why there isn't a hot glue but cold đŸ˜©?  Helllllo, inventors???!! Anyway.. once I got the arrangement I wanted, I toggled them together using the wires and then wrapped them with wide lace. Happy with the result actually.

Finally I attached the bouquet to the box and added some of the my favourite classics.

It is a good idea not only for Christmas, but also the New Year table, you can add a mini wine bottle for example if it is late evening dinner party. I bet this will impress your guests.

I hope this post has inspired you to get busy, if you are still not! this project took about a day to plan and 30 min (3 boxes)  to make excluding burning fingers time.

See you again another time as I dare not post when there are lots of fantastic makers in SHC design team! With this I leave you...

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
