Pion Mister Tom Motorbike | By Lynn

Hello everyone,

Today my card is made using the Pion Mister Tom papers. I love the vintage feel to these papers. All the items I used can be found in the shop by clicking the text below.

First of all I used Distress inks on my base card and a few snippets of the papers. Then I distressed the 6x6 sheet, adding distress ink around the images and edges. Then I and fixed it at an angle onto the base card. I then cut some of the other images and the text and fixed onto the 6x6 sheet.

You may have noticed I do like filmstrips LOL! This was an element I cut from the co-ordinating single sheet Mister Tom's treasures. Then I used the Gummiapan stamp set "Text 16 words" to stamp onto the strip. I find this stamp set really useful as you can use different combinations of the words.

I used the Gummiapan Doodled frame cut from some co-ordinating card stock several times and then snipped it apart to place around the design.

I used two Gummiapan sentiment stamps. "You only as old as you look......" and the Happy Birthday". Finishing touch are a couple of pieces of hessian and twine from my own stash.

Thanks for looking today and you can find my own blog here Crafty Linby.

Little Houses Mixed Media ATC Set | By Katie

Hello all

I have an ATC set to share using the  Houses Die Set by Gummiapan.

Paint the blank ATCs with gesso and then paint yellow, green and blue ink onto the cards.
Stamp over the base with texture stamps.

Apply a stencil and once set, rub over with metallic lustre. Cut out the houses from plain card stock and then glue to ATCs. Cover with a small stencil mask.

Paint over with inks and then stamp out the sentiments. Colour them with ink and cut them out before adding them to the ATCs.

Lollipop Cake | By Vicky

Hi everyone doesn't my heading sound delicious mmmmm, sorry for those on diets.....though if it makes you feel better I cannot eat cake at the minute either lol. Ooooh I lurve cake too..
So I made a Lollipop Invite card thingy lol using a fabby new die from Suha.

Look at that scrummy cake die mmmmm and it's pink. My granddaughter is probably gonna steal this off me.......she does with lots of my creations bless her and then sits them all in her bedroom on shelves and her window sill....

Ok anyway the new die is the Gummiapan Story Cake die and it's fab and could be used for so many things....even a wedding cake. I was going to use it with a Tilda but then thought for my first time using it I would give it centre glory on its own.......yep love it that much you will be seeing it again lol. I cut the cake out twice and glued both together to make it thick and then added the white icing bits in white card stock and added stardust stickles to it.

For the middle layer of the card I used Maja Design Monochromess and a punch from my stash to make the edge pretty. The beautiful paper is of course Maja Design Sofiero which you get with the monchromes and at the minute Suha has this beautiful collection on sale.....pop along here to see it and of course buy it before I buy it all.....yes I love it that much lol.

Flowers, lace and corrugated card are from my stash. The leaf is a Magnolia die-cut and the flower type die-cut is from a Magnolia Doo-Hickey Club Kit, Volume 16 I think - but my mind has gone blank lol.

The banner at the bottom is another Magnolia die from a Club Kit. These really are awesome kits and the dies always come in handy, I love how you can mix and match different collections. Olga on the DT does very different things with the dies, she is utterly amazing, it goes to show that a die can be used so many different ways.

Ok last photo which is a little better I think, I've struggled with my pics...insert unhappy face here....
The sentiment is a new Magnolia stamp that came with the Christmas Calender but Suha also has the collection in store. Yhe collection is called "You're Invited", you actually get two stamps with this one. I stamped it then fussy cut it and put it onto a banner cut with a Magnolia die. The circle in the centre was cut out using a Gummiapan die. I love these sets and they are some of my favourite to use.

Thanks for stopping by, take care.

Hi,

Here are Nathalie and Céline to share with you our cards made for Swedish House Crafts.
Is it too early for Christmas lol!

As you know, every month we challenge ourselves to do two different cards using the same stuff:- same paper collection, same dies, same stamps, same embellies...
This month we have made a tag and a card.

Here is what we both used to create these two different looks:-

And now some close ups of our makes, to show you the details.

Sweet Girl Ellie with Poinsettia | By Sabrina

Hello to all!
it's my turn again and today I want to show you the wonderful one Sweet Girl Ellie with Poinsettia and my new card!

I love the Gummiapan ... they have everything I want and I look for the stamps: a clear stamped, infinite, thin all well-defined traits ... in short, a perfect stamp ... And then I have a weakness for the girls!

For the tender Sweet Girl Ellie with Poinsettia, I chose a very delicate colour and I used the distress! And then nestled her in this adorable heart of sequins!!!

Also for this project you will find the video at the bottom, in which I show you how simple it is to create a card with just one stamp and without using dies!

Happy viewing with the tutorial !!

A Fish Kisses To Tilda - Desktop Calendar and Tutorial | By Donna

Hello, everyone!
Donna here with another creation for Swedish House Crafts blog.

I have made a desktop calendar, and featured one of the new Magnolia You're Invited 2018 collection stamps, which are available to pre-order in store now. This stamp is called A Fish Kisses to Tilda. Isn't she adorable?

I used Pion Design "Legends of the Sea" 12" x 12" complete collection papers. The complete collection are currently on sale at a great discounted price in store. Links to the products are in text, and can be found at the end of my post.

I matted the calendar tab onto design papers and white card, placing a piece of white cheesecloth underneath. I used a selection of flowers from my stash, and positioned foliage between them using Gummiapan little twigs die. The pretty lace, and bronze anchor charm are also from my stash.

I stamped the image onto a Gummiapan stitched rectangle, and stamped the outside with Gummiapan Stockholm stamp. I coloured the image with Prismacolor and polychromos pencils.

I sprinkled a little shabby white embossing enamel around the image, and added some 3mm sea charm pearl flatbacks. I matted the image onto a larger stitched rectangle with 2mm foam tape, placing Gummiapan hen net die between the two layers.

I have put together a tutorial for you on how to make a desktop calendar.

You will need;
1 piece of white A4 card
21cm x 14cm strip of white card
2018 calendar tab
Score board
Paper trimmer
Pencil
Ruler
Glue/sticky tape

Position a sheet of A4 white card landscape onto the score board, and score down the centre.

Fold in half as seen in above photo, and put to one side for later.

Cut a strip of white card to measure 21cm x 14cm.

Position the card portrait on the score board, and score at 2cm, 7cm, and 12cm.

Accordion fold the card as shown above.

Take the card that you folded in half earlier, and adhere the 2cm scored tab to the inside bottom of the card. Accordion fold, and repeat with the other end so the tabs match up either end.

This is how the desktop calendar will look once it's assembled.

Secret Pleasures | by Olga
Hi paper crafters and thank you for joining me today!
The project I have created this time is a coffee themed St. Valentine's Day tag:

I have combined several dies from different Swedish producers and also added some stamping on vellum for the background. I like the idea of using a keyhole plate as a logo on a coffee sleeve. I think if I were to open my own cafe I would definitely use this idea.

NOTE: The mini stamp by Magnolia I have used is now discontinued BUT Swedish House Crafts has a huge collection of them for 60% less than the market price.

If you would like to see how to make this tag please watch a beginning to end video tutorial:

I hope you enjoyed today's project, please come back again for more creative inspiration!

A box of bunnies..... | By Lou

Morning everyone!!

It's Lou in with a post for you today and I decided to just have a me time fun make for this one!!

I have had these super sweet little Magnolia stamps It's Springtime Sweet Rabbits since I got my fabulous springtime collection last year. They are just the sweetest little bunnies and I love the way the smaller one looks up at the bigger one!!

I stamped out four of them in Memento Rich Cocoa ink, coloured them up and then fussy cut them out.

To get the dimensional "pop" for them I turned them over on my foam mat and gently rubbed the back of them with the rounded end of my pen. Then I used a little hot glue to adhere them to the hills inside the box. Look how cute they look!!

I used the Gummiapan Die - Hen's Net to make the "wire" for the front of the box. I gave it a good coat with a clear embossing ink pad before putting some clear ultra thick embossing enamel on to it. I set it with my heat gun and the effect is so beautiful!! Here's a closer look at how it came out...

Then it was time to "embellish" the front of the box a little! I used my Magnolia Doo Hickey Box 14 to cut the little delicate flowers, leaves and pennant out. I used the same rolling my rounded pen on the die cuts to give them some dimension for when I glued them on.

For the pennant, I just finished it off by tying two teeny little twine bows, and adhered one to each end of the pennant. I also popped a little adhesive pearl in each of the bigger flowers on the front and inside on the little hills.

Thank you for peeking in!!

You're Invited - Mr & Mrs | By Becky

Good morning everyone, Becky here with you on this cold Monday morning. I hope that those of you in the UK don't have too much disruption from the snow. You might remember that two weeks ago that I said I was on Jury Duty, and I have managed to land myself on a case that is expected to run 8-10 weeks, so no nights, lates or weekends for me for a while, yay!!!

For today's card I have used some of the new goodies from the You're Invited collection from Magnolia, and some older Maja Design papers, which are currently on sale :)

I have used my Distress Reinkers to colour this lovely couple in, white takes a lot of effort to look not that much different. If I'm honest I never thought that I would use this typewriter, until I used it-I love it, and I know that I will use it a lot more!!

Here it is in close up, it is so intricate, I have forced the keys out so that they stand slightly proud.

Some of these flowers are from my stash, the ones that I have used from the shop are at the end of the post.

Here is an arty shot of the card, you can sort of see the keys on the typewriter. The sheet in the typewriter is part of the die.

Thank you for popping by,

Hugs,

Becky xx
