Roxstamps Memories | By Lynn

Hi - Lynn here with a card to invoke memories of travel, but also remembering that "Home is Where your heart is", which is also the stamp set by Gummiapan that I used! I stamped the words around the card edges using my stamp positioner.

For the base of the card I used a sheet from the 6x6 pad Denim and Friends Maja paper. I used the Roxstamps heart wreath die to cut out the middle of the paper. Then I placed the die cut back into the paper - overlapping one of the hearts onto the photo in the bottom right. The photos are also from the paper pad.

I used the Roxstamps memories die cut from blue card from my stash. Then I took the Laserowe Love Foto cams chipboard heart and words and inked them with Distress ink. The LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH stamps are by Gummiapan. I just stamped them onto white card and trimmed them down. I really like the way they are a negative stamp - so different.

To continue the heart theme I used the heart hangers from Roxstamps cut twice, once in the patterned paper and once in blue. I put them on top of one another slightly offset to produce a shadow.

You could adapt this layout for a scrapbook page and put your own photos in. Or make a card for someone you shared a special holiday with.

Gummiapan Old Tags | By Donna

Hello, everyone!

Donna here with a Birthday card that I have made using the new Gummiapan old tags dies. There are four metal dies in the kit. I used three of them on my card.

I used the Laserowe damask square background chipboard pieces and a selection of Maja Design Celebration 6" x 6" papers.  The stamped Stockholm postmark, and happy Birthday sentiment are Gummiapan. The die cut clock and build a bee are from my stash!

I die cut the tags with design paper, and threaded some white twine through each of the eyelets.

I trimmed a piece of the background Damask square background and attached it to the card. I handmade the flowers using Gummiapan Flowers -3 dies and inserted some stamens into the centres. I used Gummiapan leaves die to cut the foliage. I positioned them underneath some cheesecloth and placed the arrangement of flowers on top. The cheesecloth, lily, and open roses are from my stash!

Inside the card is decorated to complement the front.

Loving Bridal Couple | By Lou

Hello everyone, It's Lou in with a post for you today and I've been having super fun playing with a criss cross card fold.

I love this fold because of the beautiful ways you can decorate the "card" you pull out of the criss cross pocket and the fun you can have decorating the outside of it. For this one, I used some simple lace from my stash and die cut the Gummiapan- Integrated Hearts die. Then I carefully cut away some of the hearts to leave me with the big heart and two smaller ones for decorating the centre.

Once I'd done that, I cut the Roxstamps special - Congrats die to pop on top of it. I cut it twice, once in my white cardstock and once in the kraft cardstock. I offset the kraft layer underneath when I glued them together to make a "shadow". Then I pressed the congrats into my Tsukineko Emboss Ink pad and covered them in ultra thick embossing powder. It looks so lovely IRL, I hope you can see from the photo.

For my Magnolia Stamps Wedding Collection- Loving Bridal Couple I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try some Distress ink colouring. I really enjoyed it. I need more practice but that's the whole fun of trying new things!!

Once I had coloured Tilda and Edwin and they were fully dry, I used my Tsukineko Emboss Ink pad with the Gummiapan- Worn Hearts stamp and randomly stamped them around the sides up to where I knew they would be hidden by the criss cross fold. Then I went over them with 2 different shades of gold perfect pearls dust. It is so shimmery but I cannot get that to show in the photo!!!

Then I popped my piece through my Bigshot using the beautiful Roxstamps- Curlicue Edge Decor die. I repeated that with a Kraft cardstock too and then slightly offset them at the top to make the "shadow" again. I also tied a tiny little twine bow and glued it to the centre.

I decorated my Criss Cross card fold with some of the stunning papers in the Pion Designs- Summer falls into autumn 6x6 collection. They are so pretty I almost didn't want to cut them!!!

Raspberry Tilda in the Summertime | By Becky

Morning everyone, hope you are all OK. This is now my favourite time of year, summer is just starting, it's nice and warm and the days are lovely and long...

For my card today I have used Raspberry Tilda from the Fruit Salad collection, and coloured her with my distress reinkers.

I have used several sheets of paper from the 6x6 paper pad 'Summertime' from Maja Design. The nested circles have been cut out using 2 of the Pierced Scalloped Nested Dies from Gummiapan and I have added height by gluing corrugated card between the circles too. This is one of the special release dies, it's a Bridal Bow Doohickey Die.

and here is my arty shot.

Some Decorating with Magnolia | By Nancy

Hello, everyone! It's Nancy here today with a fun and creative card! I know you've already seen this sweet Tilda hanging her wallpaper. Well, now she's adding the finishing touches, and hanging her pictures! I can't remember the last time I spent so much time on a single card...or had so much fun! I began with stamping and colouring the Wallpaper Tilda Image. Then I set about creating the scene.

I used a mold and some clay that I have to create this lovely frame. Then I stamped and coloured the sweet Mini Magnolia Stamp called "Jam, Sitting Tilda" and framed it. Next, I needed to add some furniture to my scene, and a little step-stool to help Tilda reach!

Using a scrap of woodgrain paper from my stash, I snipped and cut, until I had assembled this side table. I added a brad for the drawer pull. Now I needed to add something to the tabletop. I found the Gummiapan Tie Stamp in my DT stash and decided that it would make a lovely vase. I stamped it, fussy cut it, curled it, and glued it in place. Then I added the flowers.

Here's a closer look at both of the images. The striped paper makes a great background.

Here you can see the curl in the vase, the detail in the frame, and more of the dimension of the card.

I hope you like my little scene card...and are inspired to create one of your own! :o)

Roxstamps Awesome | By Lynn

Hi - Lynn here today with a card using the new "old star dies from Gummiapan". They are perfect for this card for a 13 year old boy I needed to make. I used Maja Life by Sea 6x6 papers to cut them out in the alternate sizes and then layered them up.

Because he is 13 and it is a special birthday, I wanted to add the age - normally I wouldn't do that on a boy card! I don't think they find it cool. I used Gummiapan Anniversary Numbers set for the age. There is no 13! so I cut the 10 and 30 and carefully removed the 3 from the 0.

Roxstamps Awesome die I thought was perfect for a boy this age. I cut it from Maja  Life by the Sea striped paper from the 6x6 pad. To highlight it I drew around the die itself and cut out in white card. Then mounted the word die cut out on top of it.

One of my favourite Gummiapan sentiment stamps is this mini Happy Birthday It fits in nicely on this design without detracting from the overall feel of the card. I managed to nestle it into the Gummiapan star dust circle stamp which I had stamped in Memento Love Letter red ink, which is a nice bright red colour. I also added the Gummiapan mini worn ring star stamp in blue ink- this is a tiny stamp but I think it's so effective dotted around the card.

Because the card is for a boy, I wanted to grunge it up - so I used some pebeo silver gilding paste around the edges of the stars and the 13. I then added the Gummiapan splats stamp randonmly over the card in Memento Paris Dusk ink for further grunging!
